As part of our ongoing investment in clinical services we are strengthening our administration support for our Secure Services Consultants and their wider medical teams, with 1 x full-time post available on our Northside House site, and 1 x part-time post (22.5 hours per week) available within our Women's Service on the Hellesdon Hospital site. We are looking for colleagues to provide a high quality, effective administration service across our Secure inpatient services.

These roles are varied, busy and exciting and key to supporting our medical teams in delivering on their duties. You can expect a thorough induction and ongoing support to develop your career with NSFT.

**Main duties of the job**:
As Medical Administrator you will be responsible for providing administration support to named medical colleagues. Fuller duties are detailed in the attached job description, but are broadly grouped in line with the key headings listed below:

- Diary management; including booking clinics/ appointments and planning meetings and arranging travel arrangements
- Drafting correspondence and updating records: audio and copy typing all letters, memorandums, summaries and reports paying particular attention to accuracy and presentation, completing within given deadlines,
- To provide a confidential and efficient administrative service to teams.
- Maintaining an efficient process of entering correspondence on to the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system
- Organise venues, accommodation and agendas for meetings.

We are looking for colleagues who can communicate in a professional manner with patients, relatives, Trust staff and other departments, with a compassionate nature and ability to remain calm when working under pressure. You will need to be able to prioritise your workload and to deal with confidential and sensitive issues in a professional manner with tact and diplomacy.

We are looking for individuals with knowledge of IT systems and data management including MS Office. You will have experience of administrative support, reports and presentations, problem solving skills.
