THE OPPORTUNITY

The Vice President, Global Sales will lead and inspire a global commercial organization with a regional structure comprised of China, EU, India, LATAM, NA, and NSEA. The individual will be responsible for leading a team of approximately 2000 direct sales, Channel Partner managers, technical support, field marketing, customer support/service and market development professionals globally. The total annual revenue responsibility for this position is $1.2+ Billion USD and will report to the President of Videojet.

The Vice President’s primary responsibility is to driving sustainable profitable revenue growth. To achieve this, they will execute and refine a comprehensive global sales strategy aligned with Videojet strategic objectives, market dynamics, and customer needs. Drive goals and objectives, measuring and monitoring performance and critically contributing to a holistic strategic and business planning process. They will drive results through exceptional leadership skills, consistently championing and supporting a culture of continuous improvement, with an eye on reaching optimum performance on an individual and team basis.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

General Requirements:

- Substantial experience within a complex business arena with direct and indirect sales
- Experience with capital equipment sales with an after sales revenue stream (razor/razorblade model)
- Substantial experience within a complex selling organization in a high technology product/service sector - Successfully managed a large direct sales organization
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across the organization including sales, service, technical support and business management functions Commercial:

- Ability to interface with and lead a global sales team to achieve maximum results
- Extensive experience in developing global sales and commercial marketing strategies
- Proven ability to develop international pricing and promotional product programs Leadership: - Proven record of building a high performing organization
- Proven successful record in sales/marketing leadership and staff management, while functioning in a demanding, action-oriented environment
- Demonstrated strong strategic and analytical skills as well as solid business acumen, experience in profit and loss management and growth achievements
- Potential for future promotability to a general management position

- Will display and operate in a way that never compromises ethics and integrity, and will be non-political in all dealings with agendas that are above board and understood by all; energy EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION - Bachelor’s Degree in a business or industrial/process engineering, MBA preferred
- 20 years of work experience in sales and technical support, life sciences industry background preferred
- 15 years of increasing management responsibilities

Sales Process Execution & Improvement:

- Develop annual budgets based on strategic plan and on achieving above market growth by product line and area; deliver budgeted performance
- Drive rigorous business processes across a decentralized regional/country structure, including strong focus on daily management on the local level
- Elevate usage of The Veralto Enterprise System (VES) (The operating model of Veralto operating companies which supports a comprehensive set of key commercial processes
