**Join the 2023 FIS University Summer Internship Program**

We are offering an exciting opportunity to join FIS for **10 weeks** in our **London office** during this summer You will be part of our **FIS University - Summer Internship Program,** where you will gain real work experience and participate in team projects, social events, and professional development seminars

**The Compliance team**

This position sits within the UK and EMEA Regulatory Compliance team for our Merchant line of Business, WorldPay from FIS.

Our team is responsible for:

- Dealing with regulatory authorities and facilitating responses to exams and information requests
- Influencing and implementing new regulation
- Advising the business in new products, projects and growth initiatives

**What you will be doing**

During your 10 weeks Internship you will be assist and participate in various tasks such as:

- Perform horizon scanning to understand new and upcoming regulations impacting the business
- Perform impact assessments on regulatory developments
- Prepare management briefings on new and upcoming regulations
- Support the development and delivery of training for the business
- Help monitor key areas of compliance risk

What knowledge and skills can you expect to build during your internship?
- Develop an understanding of the Payments industry
- Effective Communication Skills
- Organisation and Time Management
- Build knowledge of the Regulatory landscape

**Who we are looking for**
- You are in your penultimate year of an undergraduate degree, or in your final year of an undergraduate degree with a one-year postgraduate place confirmed
- You demonstrate an eagerness to learn new things
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), listening and rapport building skills
- Confident, with a proactive mindset, and willingness to ask questions and put forward ideas
- You are organised, with good time management skills and an ability to multi-task
- You have a genuine interest in the fast-evolving payments industry
