Our Integrated Mental Health and Substance Misuse Service at HMP Drakehall is looking for an experienced Mental Health Professionals to join its friendly and professional team. The variety of the role will keep things fresh and stimulating and you will be part of a supportive team with effective management providing supervision and guidance.

- would like to work within a fully multi-disciplinary team to provide varied and comprehensive interventions in-line with the stepped care model.

You will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidenced based interventions, managing a caseload, practicing within the framework of the multi-disciplinary team and Care Programme Approach. You will provide a care coordinator role and communicate effectively with other professionals, internal and external to the Inclusion team and prison, to ensure through care support where appropriate. You will work with individuals from initial assessment through to discharge, which can include transferring care to other providers such as hospitals or CMHTs whilst working with a variety of agencies in the Offender Health Pathway.

Inclusion (part of Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust) has prison substance misuse and mental health teams across the country and you will benefit from training and development opportunities as well as the support of an NHS employer experienced in providing prison healthcare.

Inclusion, created in 2002 is part of the Specialist Services Care Group of Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT). We provide caring and effective services across England, including, West Yorkshire, West Midlands, East Midlands, West Mercia, Thames Valley, Hampshire, Isle of Wight and Thurrock, Essex.
