IT Support Apprentice

My client creates occupational health and wellbeing solutions form employers across the UK. They offer a variety of services that a caring employer might need to keep their employees safe and well at work which include absence management, employee screening,help with alcohol or drug issues and a range of other specialist services.

Due to the expansion of the company and how busy they are becoming they are now looking for an IT Support Apprentice to support with the day-to-day duties.

Your daily duties will include:

- Provide first line fault diagnostics for Desktop installed IT equipment.
- Provide telephone support.
- Respond to requests for IT support within agreed SLA’s.
- Escalate issues or higher-level queries to senior IT members as required in a timely fashion.
- Assisting new members of staff during induction and probation periods.
- Attending meetings and training sessions as required.
- Any other request made by a director.
- Assisting with any other office activities at the discretion of the Line Manager.

The role is supported by 20% off the job training and the qualification supporting this role is the apprenticeship Information Communication Technician Level 3 standard.
