We’re looking for an Apprentice Roadworker to join our Kier Highways team based in Brixworth. Within this role, you can enjoy discounts at high street brands, gaining a recognised qualification, working on exciting projects and even more.

**Responsibilities**

As an Apprentice Roadworker, you’ll be working within the Kier Highways team, supporting them in keeping over 27,000km of roads flowing across the UK.

Your day to day will include:

- Working as part of a team responsible for the maintenance and construction of roads, footways, drainage, and surfacing.
- Placing and spreading stone/concrete as well as using horticultural tools
- Operating and maintaining light plant machinery including breakers, rollers, and disc cutters

You will also study for a **Level 2 Highways Maintenance Skilled Operative **qualification with support from our experienced teams - giving you the practical skills and expertise to excel in your career.
