**Key Responsibilities**:

- Make arrangements for prospective students to visit, e.g. Young Person Experience Days, individual Assessment Days.
- Screening all relevant paperwork, including Education, Health & Care Plans, and Care Needs Assessments to determine prospective students’ needs and potential risks around placement.
- Act as the primary provider of 1:1 care support for prospective students during their individual Assessment Days. To include overnight assessments when taking place.
- Liaise with care, therapies and curriculum teams to ensure prospective students meet appropriate individuals during their assessment day.
- Make observations on the young people, gather and provide feedback on each individual, to inform the assessment process.
- Support prospective students with the administering of medication (specialist training will be provided where necessary)
- Supporting Transition and Progression Coordinator with the onboarding process of new students including administrative support around scheduling of inductions as well as inputting Circle of Care information into Nourish.
- Relevant administrative duties including input to EBS and Nourish and onboarding new students, and administration around on roll students as required.

**Person Specification**:

- Hold relevant Health and Social Care qualification
- Understanding, knowledge and experience of delivering high quality care, care plans and risk assessments
- Knowledge of CQC framework and external quality standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to incorporate the use of Makaton and/or other relevant communication aids (College provides Makaton training)
- Excellent organisational skills, accuracy, attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload & multi task
- Highly self-motivated individual with ability to work on own initiative
- Competent IT user, including in Microsoft Office suite, with ability to adapt to new or unfamiliar software programmes.
