Accounts Administrator

**Our client a successful agricultural company based in Oswestry is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Accounts Administrator. They are a privately owned large scale farming business going through rapid growth and operating multiple sites across Shropshire.**
**Role-specific Responsibilities**:
- Liaise with senior members of staff, colleagues, customers and suppliers
- Administration support for the farming sites
- Inventory control
- Processing customer and supplier invoices via Sage Accounting System
- Journal posting
- Rationalise suppliers to maximise reduction in costs
- Monitor and review of outstanding invoices with prompt resolution of queries
- Answering suppliers’ phone calls and resolving queries
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Assist with month end tasks
**Person Specification**:
- Proven administration experience and knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills including ability to manage own time, multi-task and prioritise work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, but specifically Excel
- Experience of Sage accounts software
- Business / accounts administration qualifications to NVQ level or equivalent
- Experience of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Experience of agriculture sector is an advantage
- Full driving licence
