Role title - HR Assistant

Salary - £22750 + Working from home allowance

Location - Hybrid

Purpose:
To work in partnership with staff, Managers and the wider HR Department to provide high quality responsive support relating to enquiries of a HR nature and to participate fully in the projects and activities of the HR Team.

Responsibilities:
To process such information on the internal HR system and in line with required payroll deadlines

To process required information and advise on policies and processes relating to general HR issues, including (but not limited to):

- Contracts of employment and all related correspondence for staff and managers
- Maternity / Paternity arrangements
- Annual leave entitlements and arrangements
- Probation
- Recruitment and Internal vacancy List
- Asylum and Immigration

To provide administrative support to HR Business Partners and Advisors

Support managers in making managerial referrals to occupational health, offering advice and guidance to managers

To provide information and advice to staff and Managers according to the level of individual competence and experience, liaising with HR Officers and Business Partners as necessary and provide quarterly statistical reports

Skills required:

- Confident in the use of different IT systems
- Experience of using databases to input, extract and analyse information
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Excellent organisation and prioritising skills
- High level of competence in the use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
- Excellent Attention to detail
- Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks
- Experience of providing advice and support to staff and managers
- Experience of working within a fast-paced office environment
- Experience of working within a central HR Team
