Data Cleansing Officer

**Overview**:
To actively support Exchequer Services with reviewing and cleansing data currently held in
Oracle in preparation for data migration to our new finance software.
You will be responsible for amending data in line with specific requirements, investigating
issues that arise from these changes, running reports and providing feedback to other key
contacts involved in the project in regard to progress made.
The role may also include some administrative tasks that support the wider team.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Verifying that data shows accurate information and is consistent across the data set.
2. Responsible for correcting or removing incorrect, incomplete, or duplicate data within Oracle.
3. Extracting and manipulating data from the system.
4. Formatting data in readiness to be uploaded into our new financial system.
5. Review duplicate records in readiness for them to be merged.
6. Support ad-hoc administration tasks to support the team.
