**Role Details**

**Hours: 37.5hrs**

**Salary**:£41,659 + £3.5k car allowance per annum**

Main duties of the **Physiotherapy Student Placement Facilitator**:

- To evaluate, measure and disseminate the experience of the project from the resident, student and management perspectives. To showcase best practices and impact on services, residents, student learning and development and multi-agency partnerships.
- To identify and address the training needs of ExtraCare’s staff who have supervision responsibilities from NHS Trusts and HEIs.
- Enhance cooperation between practice areas and academia.
- Acting as the link between ExtraCare and our partners, including Birmingham HEIs, Birmingham and Solihull AHP Faculty and to facilitate the smooth running of the student placement programme.
- Creating placement opportunities that include providing relevant rehabilitation interventions for individuals in the Social Care sector within ExtraCare locations.
- Partnering with HEIs by building positive relationships with their Senior teaching staff and Student Placement teams within HEI.

**Are ideal Physiotherapy Student Placement Facilitator**:

- Band 6/HCPC registered
- Have experience in generating and overseeing HEI placements.
- Experience in managing older people, long term conditions and providing treatment plans
- Experience or knowledge of primary care
- Good interpersonal skills and can demonstrate ability to work with others.
- Proficient computer skills
