Transport Administrator

**Job Summary**:
**Duties**:
Ensure inbound/outbound paperwork is completed promptly and accurately.
Facilitate effective communication between yourself, your peers and the Management Team.
Undertake administrative and filing duties to meet needs of the operation.
Participate as an effective and willing team member in order to achieve individual and team goals.
Ensure that the Health and Safety of yourself, Customers and Colleagues is not at risk, by taking all reasonable steps to ensure safety in the workplace.
Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
Keep customers up to date on late running’s and potential delivery failures.
Upload customer deliveries onto the carrier’s portals.
Process transport runs through the system and create any necessary labels.
Resolve internal queries and support internal departments requests.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with both internal & external customers & carriers.
Ensure all paperwork is returned for customer deliveries despatched from site and chase outstanding PODs.
**Experience/skills required**:
Communication - excellent in verbal, written and face to face communication.
Proactive with an ability to work under pressure and to react and respond to change.
Flexible in your approach to working duties and shifts worked.
Always aim for 100% accuracy when dealing with customers.
Sound IT knowledge inclusive of Microsoft Word and Excel, accurate keyboard
skills and strong attention to detail.
Organised approach to your workload and ability to prioritise effectively.
Maintain a positive attitude with everyone you deal with on a daily basis.
Be adaptable and able to work with changing processes.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: From £12,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 per week
