**Job description**:
We are looking for up to two Learning Facilitators to deliver the Learning & Family Programmes’ vision by leading interactive tours and workshop sessions for groups and guests of all ages and abilities, providing outstanding guest experience for all external visitors and internal stakeholders who are engaging with our team. The role is on a fixed term 24 month basis.

**What you will be doing**:
**Learning Operations**
- Deliver exciting and engaging experiences to a range of audiences across formal and informal settings including families, young children, school groups from primary/secondary/university, and community groups.
- Lead and deliver workshops, tours and assemblies to schools groups up to 40 people from a diverse range of age groups and abilities, including SEND individuals, both on and off-site.
- Lead and deliver Early Years and Families events which include working with small children, singing and dancing, storytelling, and crafts.
- Proactively ensure excellent guest experience by working with the Learning & Family team and collaborating across the wider organisation to deliver exceptional service for all public visitors.
- Setting up and packing away workshops and carrying out basic checks and tasks to support the safe and efficient operation of the visit. This involves walking the site pre-opening to ensure safe tour route for the day and may involve lifting furniture.
- Supervise groups within the Grounds in line with the AELTC Safeguarding procedures.
- Learn and champion the history and stories of The Championships, keeping up to date with new developments and changes to the tournament and the Grounds.
- Contribute to the development of the programmes offer both year-round and at The Championships through regular feedback and input.
- Liaise with different stakeholders and collaborate with internal and external teams as needed.

**Championships Operations**
- Support in delivery of a suite of activities during the Qualifying Event and The Championships including on
- and offsite learning events, player events, etc.
- Assist with delivery of Championships tours ensuring outstanding guest experience and appropriate levels of health and safety for all.

**Other Duties**
- Following the delivery of sessions, your role will include making sure the Learning Space is ready, supplies are audited, preparing learning materials, receiving training on new offerings, conducting additional research.
- While most sessions are delivered on site, at times workshops or community events require offsite presence. This may include working offsite at other tennis events with overnight stays.
- This job description provides a guideline only. Your role is likely to evolve and other duties may be required of you in the future, as directed by the Schools and Universities Coordinator, the Children, Young People and Families Coordinator or the Head of Community Strategy.

**Additional Information**:

- This position report to the Schools and Universities Coordinator with a dotted line to the Children, Young People and Families Coordinator to reflect that this role supports both the Learning and the Family programme.
- During The Championships you will be expected to work additional hours and take on additional duties during this time.

**About You**:
**Essential**
- Experience of performing, acting, teaching, scripted storytelling, or related activities to people of all ages and backgrounds.
- Demonstrable experience of leading engaging learning sessions for a variety of audiences within a museum, gallery, visitor attraction or educational setting.
- The ability to convey information to large groups in a fun, creative and informed manner and be open to learning from evaluation.
- Strong organisational and timekeeping skills.
- Demonstrable ability to work both as part of a team and to take initiative and make decisions independently.
- Proven ability to undertake own research and to personalise delivery and content.

**Desirable**
- Experience of guiding groups across a large working site.
- Experience of working with people across a broad spectrum of learners, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.
- An understanding of tennis and the rules of the sport.
