**What you’ll be responsible for**:

- To provide a high-quality confidential secretarial and administrative service, including diary management, audio transcription of dictations, typing, production, and distribution of letters, memos, and reports. Other general secretarial duties include filing, photocopying, and coding invoices.
- To lead the administration for the Pulmonary Rehabilitation service including capture and recording of data, appointment coordination, and dealing with queries.
- To deal with post, placing in order of priority and acting on matters that can be dealt with without further reference.
- To provide the first point of contact for written and telephone enquiries where appropriate, using own judgement to prioritise urgency and take appropriate action, resolving issues in a sensitive matter where possible regarding appointments, etc

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above

**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:

- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:

- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Packages e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- System knowledge of RiO and EPR (Careflow). (Desirable)
