Full time, Part time & Bank Mental Health Care Workers are required for our 24Hour Support Adult Mental Health Residential Care Home in Woolwich that focuses on Service User Personal Recovery through encouraging connectedness, hope, identity, meaning & empowerment.
Some care work experience required and NVQ L2 or NVQ L3 desirable but not essential. Long Day Shift work pattern including weekends from £9.50 per hour. Night Shift Sleep In - Fixed rate.

Duties involve providing community based social and personal support for adults experiencing a range of mental health needs and assume the role of a key worker. Assist in the compilation & implementation of care and support plans.
Participate in the CPA care review of the service users. Liaising and working alongside other mental health professionals. Prompting and encouraging service users to attend to personal care. Helping with the development and day-to-day engagement with community mental health services & ways to improve social inclusion of our Service Users.
Providing support in domestic duties for infection control & health & safety, to enhance daily living skills of Service users. Providing support for activities such as cooking, cleaning, skills development, appointments and leisure. Encourage independence.
Maintaining appropriate service users’ records. To Learn and understand Khaya Project policies and procedures in relation to this job. Training and on-going supervision will be provided.
