We are looking for kind, energetic and enthusiastic individuals to become part of our caring support team at QGR GROUP

Our care has a strong focus on the social aspect of life, ensuring the people we support enjoy our company and feel fulfilled. We support people to take part in leisure activities. We also support people with the more practical side of life, such as providing personal care, medication administration, cleaning and meal preparation.

As a Personal Care Worker, your responsibilities will include:

- **Personal Care**: Assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
- **Daily Living Support**: Helping clients with daily activities such as meal preparation, feeding, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
- **Companionship**: Providing emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to improve their quality of life.
- **Mobility Assistance**: Supporting clients with mobility needs, including transfers and using mobility aids.
- **Monitoring and Reporting**: Observing and reporting any changes in clients' health or behaviour to the Care Coordinator.

**What we require from you**:

- Experience of working as a Personal Care Worker
- Be able to deal with Adults with Learning Disability and complex needs.
- To have good knowledge of Safeguarding and Social Care Skills.
- Be a good team player and be flexible.
- Complete daily notes and update care Plans. You will be able to keep accurate records and provide written reports on children and young people for planning meetings, reviews or any other meetings as directed by the line manager.
- To be able to demonstrate compassion and empathy.
- Able to be a team player
- NVQ or QCF Level 3 Health & Social Care or Level 3 Diploma is desired but not essential.
- Ensure that each Clients support plan is followed and amended as appropriate to reflect their changing needs

- Receiving and storing information to improve communication
- Being willing to give and receive feedback on performance with colleagues and managers
- Providing informal practical and emotional support to colleagues experiencing difficulties
- Attending and contributing to regular supervision sessions in line with the National Minimum Standards
- Monitoring the conduct of colleagues and referring on any causes for concern (Whistleblowing)
- Being familiar with all policies and procedures of the company and adhering to them
- As a Personal Care worker you are REQUIRED to have knowledge and understanding of working within the guidelines from the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Health and Social Care Act 2008.
