Events Project Executive

Chiswick

Hybrid with some travel required.

This role is a Fixed Term Contact until November 2024.

About the role

In this role, you will play a key part in the IEC GM Event that takes place in October 2024. You will be instrumental in the planning of this complex event and will work as part of a small collaborative and effective team to deliver the IEC GM.

**Responsibilities**:

- _ Work closely with senior stakeholders of all levels to ensure the event is executed in line with expectations._
- _ Support the Events Project Manager and existing Event Project Executive as well as the wider team to manage work streams so projects remain on-track and updates are distributed regularly._
- _ Manage event logistics, including suppliers, venue set up and attendees._
- _ Support with administrative needs associated with the GM._
- _ Assist in crafting an interesting engagement programme._
- _ Take ownership of key planning processes and delivery, including visa request letters for international delegates._
- _ Partner with Marketing to ensure PR & Marcoms are aligned._
- _ Creating, managing and communicating project plans for assigned events, managing expectations, and deadlines prior to, during and after the event._
- _ Support collect data to measure overall impact of the event._

To be successful in the role, you will have:

- Prior experience in large scale events: Community, Corporate etc.
- Experience working closely with stakeholders of all levels.
- Great experience with the full Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with event management systems, conferencing & conferencing tech.
- Experience with events budget management.
- Experience with copy and comms.
- Good understanding of sustainability within events.
- International delegate experience would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of 20121 would be beneficial but not essential.
