**THE OPPORTUNITY**
At Leonardo, we have a fantastic new opportunity for a Process Administrator.
This role is based at our Helicopters division in Yeovil in a manufacturing environment
The main scope of this opportunity is to:
- Support the production team in achieving efficient working through supporting tasks
- Assist the shop floor personnel to ensure availability of gauges and tooling to support production activities to allow pre kitting and measuring of production parts
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
To perform all functions within the Receipt, Stores, Despatch, Transport and Stock Checking processes for the full range of aircraft components, consumables jigs, tools and raw materials within the stores.
- Able to undertake basic activities in all LH stores, in particular for covering staff absenteeism.# Resolve stock discrepancies.
- Loading and unloading of Major Structures.
- Launching kits post survey.
- Moving parts/Jobs around the key functional areas, ensuring everything is in its correct place and available.
- Ensuring job cards are clocked when items are launched for reworks.
- Calibration
- Management of calibrated items. Ensuring all equipment is within its calibration date. If not they will be transferred to and from the calibration department, booking them in and out.
- You are responsible for taking reasonable care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work and to co-operate with managers, supervisors and others to enable the company to meet its statutory obligations for health, safety and environment.
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Good standard of education (GCSE or equivalent, NVQ level 2)
- Minimum 1 year working in a warehouse environment.
- Minimum of 6 months working as a Production Administrator.
- Demonstrated competency of working as a Production Administrator.
- Leonardo Helicopters computer system knowledge.
- Knowledge or Receipt, Stores, Despatch, Transportation and Stock Checking processes.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety and Handling procedures.
- Computer literate, including the use of the Company Operating System.
- Problem Solving.
- Good at working in a team and ability to pass on knowledge.
- Good communication skills, both internal and external.
- Desirable attitude and behaviour
- Very good knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system
- Computer literate
