Overview:
As part of our continuous improvement efforts, we are seeking a talented Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the quality and reliability of our supply chain
Contributing to the introduction of new products and suppliers from nomination to production supply ensuring all Ricor corporate processes are followed and administration requirements as per VDA/ IATF/Customer requirements as needed. Managing supplier performance monitoring and escalation management along with support to buyers in cost reduction activity.
**Position Overview**:
As a Supplier Quality Assurance, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the quality of materials and components sourced from our suppliers. You will be responsible for assessing supplier capabilities, establishing quality standards, and implementing processes to monitor and improve supplier performance. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute to our strategy of delivering superior products to our customers.
As Supplier Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products and services meet the highest standards of quality. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and resolving any issues in our supply chain.

- Ensuring successful introduction of new products to meet project key dates.
- Ensuring customer specific requirements are communicated and followed within the supply chain.
- Maintenance and contribution toward the approved supplier’s list.
- Conduct supplier audits to assess compliance with quality management systems and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain supplier quality agreements outlining expectations, specifications, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality requirements for new products and components.
- Perform risk assessments on suppliers and develop mitigation strategies to address potential quality issues.
- Establish and maintain supplier evaluation and performance measurement processes.
- Investigate root causes of supplier-related quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide technical guidance to suppliers to resolve quality-related challenges and improve processes.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance to Ricor Corporate supplier quality manual.
- Develop with Group Purchasing Strategic Suppliers and Ensure those suppliers have current IATF accreditation, Maintain conformance to IATF working procedures.
- Work within project teams developing and adhering to project timing requirements.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supplier quality assurance or related roles in Manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of quality management principles, including ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
- Background in a high volume manufacturing environment with knowledge of technical knowledge of production techniques.
- Proficiency in conducting supplier audits and implementing corrective actions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve complex quality issues.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and integrity.
- Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and supplier relationship management
- To be qualified to a minimum HNC level in business or engineering discipline.
- To be qualified to a minimum IATF lead auditor trained.
- Full Driving Licence
- Passport as some travel may be required.
Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
