**What you'll be doing.**

As one of LNERs Customer Experience Roster Clerks you will be taking the lead to ensure our trains and stations are staffed to the required levels to enable the teams to deliver LNERs legendary customer experience. Day to day this will involve the management of weekly and daily rosters ensuring colleagues are rostered in line with clearly defined rostering and safety principles, the compilation of timesheets and the management of the team's annual leave throughout the year balancing the requests for leave against the operational needs of the business. You will also need to manage our rest day equalization process which ensures the allocation of overtime is shared fairly across all grades. It doesn't stop there We have a number of other processes to manage along with general rostering administration, so having an organized approach will be really beneficial.

Working in the rostering team you could be working on any number of grades, from Train managers, through to the on train teams and the station teams, so there's lots of variety and you will get to meet lots of people so building relationships is an essential part of the role.

**What you'll need**:

- To be an effective team player, with the ability to form constructive and proactive working relationships.
- Have a good level of Numeracy and analytical skills.
- The ability to work to policies and procedures
- The ability to work under difficult and challenging situations without losing focus on business needs.
- Enjoy working to and achieving deadlines
