Our practice is situated on the Surrey/West Sussex border between Horsham and Dorking. We are looking for someone to join our Administration team in helping deliver high standard patient care service in a friendly GP environment in a semi-rural patient population based over two sites.

We are a rural dispensing GP practice based across two sites, with our main site at Capel. Our practice list size is approximately 8000 patients, looked after by excellent teams of clinical, administrative, reception and dispensary staff.

We are looking for someone enthusiastic to join our small friendly administrative team. This is a varied role where you will support all your practice colleagues in their duties.

**Job Summary**:
To provide general administrative to support the efficient running of the practice across both sites.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of patient referrals, letters, reports, etc. in an accurate and quality manner.
- Processing of registrations and deductions of patient records in a timely manner.
- Summarising of new patient medical records either paper or electronic
- Invoicing of patient private work and monitor credit control.
- To establish and maintain filing and administrative systems so that written or computer information is easily accessible and secure e.g. Practice intranet.
- To retrieve medical records and assist the completion of medical / insurance records and Subject Access Requests.
- To receive incoming and initiate outgoing telephone calls in order to facilitate timely and appropriate communications with others, taking messages and dealing with appropriate queries.
- Scanning and coding of any ocumentation which comes in to the practice
- To maintain levels of non-clinical stock in the practice
- To assist the partners and Practice Manager with any clerical and administrative duties as required
- Support Practice Manager with reporting from clinical system as required.

**Salary**: £20,530.00-£24,500.00 per year
