A HR generalist is required for this perm HR Advisor/Consultant (junior HRBP/ Senior HR Adviser Level) role to support the Senior HR Consultants and provide Ad Hoc Project support on a range of complex and routine generalist HR activities.

**LOCATION**: Hybrid working (mainly home based with occasional travel within the UK and to the office in Horsham, once a week when required).

**HR ADVISOR / CONSULTANT (HRBP/ Senior HR Adviser Level) DUTIES**:

- Provide accurate HR advice, guidance and practical support, on a wide range of HR matters.
- Build effective working relationships and provide solutions to resolve complex employee relations situations for the business Redundancy; Disciplinary, Performance Management; Capability, Absence Management and Grievances) etc.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, scheduling catch ups where appropriate and ensuring regular attendance at team meetings for information sharing purposes.
- Plan, project manage and deliver bespoke projects for clients including undertaking investigations, supporting and/or attending formal Hearings and Appeals, as required.
- Provide robust legally compliant guidance and practical support to project plan, manage and deliver complex organisational restructure plans (e.g. redundancy consultation, TUPE transfers), including attending meetings and ensure paperwork is completed.
- Plan and deliver reports/presentations on a range of topics e.g. Job Evaluations, benchmarking, salary surveys, employee satisfaction surveys etc.
- Design, develop and implement performance and reward systems for client organisations (e.g. appraisal schemes, pay and benefits structures), and where required help link these to client pay structures.
- Work in partnership with Senior Consultants to contribute and where appropriate develop the client’s HR strategy to provide longer-term solutions (e.g. reward strategies, succession planning, improving recruitment and retention).
- Liaise with Outsourcing colleagues to plan, manage and deliver recruitment campaigns, including Senior appointments (e.g. advertising, administration, shortlisting, attending interviews).
- Liaise with Organisational Development to design and lead on projects including engagement, culture initiatives and training programmes and delivery.

This role would suit a self starter with proven experience in a generalist HR role such as a HR Adviser, HR Officer or a Juniior HR BP role with strong ER and change management experience.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Significant demonstrable practical experience of managing a wide range of employment issues with breadth and depth of activity gained within an internal HR team or Consultancy environment.
- Excellent employment law and generalist HR knowledge.
- Excellent relationship building skills.
- Able to articulate strategic risk and reward in business/organisational impact terms.
- Experience of supporting on HR strategy and employee relations matters. Strong working knowledge and experience of drafting and completing settlement agreements and negotiations
- Demonstratable experience of supporting on TUPE, redundancy or restructure projects.
- Excellent communication skills to share complex information effectively and tactfully at all levels to deal with sensitive matters.
- Proficient in IT programmes, essentially an advanced working knowledge of MS Teams/Outlook, Word and Excel.
- CIPD Certificate in Human Resource Management (Level 5) (either studying towards or attained) or equivalent
- Able to work predominantly from home
