Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom JDR Cable Systems Full time

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dependable person to join us as a System Administrator (internally known as an ERP-Coordinator) within the Cost Estimating team. JDR is a world-class provider of subsea technologies and services connecting the global offshore energy industry. Our flexible and innovative technologies enable vital control and power delivery for both the oil and gas and renewable energy sectors. We are therefore looking for an administrator to manage the day-to-day data changes to various business activities to successfully deliver our products and services.
Responsibilities will mainly rely on the handling of day-to-day activities around the data stored within the ERP system. This role will suit someone who can deliver the following:

- Possess an eye for detail so as to observe conflict with data
- Effective and timely conversion of technical information provided within change requests
- Communicate clearly with the other departments to support business functions, namely our projects teams, supply chain, service department and finance
- Demonstrate critical thinking to challenge and resolve errors
- Ensure any JDR, customer or supplier changes are understood and updated

JOB REQUIREMENTS
The ability to prioritise your workload and manage your own time to process work, at times, within tight deadlines, is key to this position. Having knowledge of similar manufacturing processes would be advantageous, but is not a pre-requisite to be considered for this role. We are looking for someone who is confident in using their own judgement and is able to escalate issues where applicable within a timely and professional manner to maintain effective decision making. All the necessary training will be provided, where we will build your expertise so that you can flourish at JDR. A full training package will be in place and will continuously maintain your skills and knowledge.
At JDR, we also operate a hybrid working approach where you will be offered to work flexibly to maintain both an office presence, as well as working from home if you wish.

Please note that this role can be based at any of our UK locations - Littleport (Cambridgeshire), Newcastle or Hartlepool.
