**Sales Researcher**:
We have an exciting and rare opportunity to join our Sales team as a Sales researcher. The roles Primary focus is to drive the hotel revenue by penetrating the national marketplace, securing and driving new business from accounts within the UK through research. This role is covering local and national corporates and primarily telephone focused.
This role is for 24 hours per week £15,881 per annum (FTE £26,341)
**What you will do**
- To use hotel data to generate new leads through full account mapping and research.
- To conduct boardspots and follow up on the research to gain new opportunities.
- Monitor local companies and the local planning authorities to take advantage of any new business opportunities and for one off corporate room segment / M&E opportunity.
- To support the Director of Sales & Sales Manager to gain new appointments for them to conduct face to face appointments.
- To support the Director of Sales & Sales Manager on research calls using databases, google research and boardspots to drive all segments.
- To conduct regular sales blitz calling days to generate new business opportunities.
- To attend local city networking events monthly seeking new business opportunity.
- Assist Events office with regular conversion.
- Implement and analyse data
- To attend any training or communication meetings as required for the better performance of the role.
- Have previous sales and/ or hotel experience and
- Self-motivated and passionate about sales.
- Will have good computer skills with Opera experience desirable and an excellent telephone manner.
- Be a strong communicator, liaising with clients and guests with confidence
