**The role and what you will be doing**:
This role will work within the finance function of Policy Expert, reporting to the Financial Controller and will support the rest of the finance function across London, Milton Keynes and Motherwell. This individual will deliver high quality accounts payable and accounts receivable transactional services.

You will be focused on delivering accurate, timely and high-quality accounts processing with a focus on customer service and for first point of contact enquiries.

This role will be based in Central London, in a state-of-the-art office which is the base for a rapidly expanding team of over 90 colleagues. We also support a 50/50 hybrid working model as we truly believe in people being able to achieve a healthy work-life balance.

**The primary responsibilities of this role include**:

- Analyse, organize and manage customer invoices.
- Audit invoices based on purchase orders.
- Resolve problems related to billing and payment.
- Verify and record business transactions.
- Prepare and manage account statements.
- Perform reconciliation of daily and monthly revenues.
- Prepare financial reports, expense reports, revenue reports, and trial balance reports, etc for management.
- Manage bank account deposits.
- Manage bank transactions and payments.
- Participate in month end account closing activities.
- Perform account payable and receivable transactions.

- You have solid excel experience.
- Have a good understanding of basic accounting procedures.
- Has good attention to detail and can work with high volumes of data.
- You’re analytical and comfortable in dealing with data/numbers.
- You’re able to meet deadlines by having strong time management skills.
- You’re a motivated self-starter.
- You’re confident and used to presenting data in an interesting way
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- And you’re a good organiser who is level-headed under pressure

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 - 6 months

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
