**Business Controller**
Mission: Responsible for the implementation of the Administration and Dry Storage processes for a group of hotels (non-centralised processes). Ensures the correct functioning and compliance with procedures in the assigned business units, implementing the tasks delegated by the Business Partner in the Operations Centre.
What will you be doing?
Ø Provides support to the OC Business Partner, analyzing relevant information (financial or otherwise) and advising the Hotel Manager and others responsible for operational departments in the assigned hotels.
Ø Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures for the Administration and Dry Storage areas in the assigned hotels.
Ø Monitors the budget for the assigned hotels and reports any relevant deviation or incident to the Business Partner.
Ø Participates in the definition of corrective measures and monitors compliance with them.
Ø Coordinates cash control activities, checking the general status of administrative processes. For hotels not served by MHS, sends a monthly summary of the hotels’ cash control registers to the BP.
Ø Ensure the fulfilment of the economic goals established in the department and being aware of the economic goals of the hotel, as well as their fulfilment.
Ø University education in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting or similar.
Ø At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
Ø Knowledge of hotel business management and their specific requirements.
Ø Management of economic and financial systems.
Ø Knowledge of hotel operations
Ø Knowledge of risk management, change management and people management.
