**Receptionist/Administrator**
**Overview**:
Our client is a private dental clinic in Edinburgh with an exceptional reputation that specialises in complex dentistry. They are looking for a warm, friendly, and professional Receptionist/Administrator to join their front office team.
**Benefits and pay range**:
- £excellent hourly rate dependent on experience. Full time, Permanent role
- 8:00am - 6:30pm over four weekdays
- £25 per month towards a gym membership + your birthday off
**Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Give a warm welcome as you efficiently and professionally check in patients and update records accordingly
- Scan and store medical records
- Answer the switchboard, screening and directing calls
- Develop a knowledge and understanding of treatments and procedures offered, alongside billing and accounts
- Liaise with dentists, dental laboratories and other clients/suppliers
- Other administration duties
**Requirements and Qualifications**:
**Essential**:
- Professional appearance, including a warm and friendly demeanour
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail, strong problem skills and a passion for professional development
- A strong work ethic of professionalism, discretion, and empathy, especially when working under pressure
- Experience with booking and invoicing systems, ideally within the hospitality or medical industries
- Works well with other team members
