If so, then we have the role for you. We are seeking administrators to join our 0-19 Healthy Child Programme working with other administrators and clinicians to support the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme service delivery across Cambridgeshire.

Use of SystmOne would be advantageous although training will be provided on our IT systems with support from your work colleagues.

The base for this role will be The Peacock Centre, Mill Road, Cambridge. There may be a requirement to travel to other bases on occasions, for meetings or training.

The role of the HCP Administration support is to provide comprehensive administration support to their locality team including Health Visitors, School Nurses, Staff Nurses and Nursery Nurses, by performing a full range of administrative tasks, alongside supporting the function of the locality duty desk.

The role is varied and includes answering the telephone for service users and other professionals, in an efficient and confident manner, accepting electronic referrals, planning and booking appointments for clinicians, monitoring and maintaining waiting lists plus general administrative duties.

Provide administrative support to the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme clinical team within the locality by providing diary management, sending communications to colleagues within the locality, filing, photocopying and other general administrative duties.

Administration of the locality allocation case management meeting(s), including sending letters to services users updating S1 records, actioning tasks, making appointments etc.

Answering telephone calls and responding appropriately.

Administration of the locality S1 unit including scanning documents onto S1 records, monitoring tasks, setting up rotas, electronically attaching documents to service user records etc..

Recognising the extent of their competency and identifying when referral to a clinician is required in accordance with agreed standard operating procedures.

Recording details of all contacts with service users and other professionals using S1 and other systems as appropriate.

Completing administration tasks on S1, including scanning onto patient records, registering antenatal notifications, checking tasks, updating service user information, running routine reports and registering service users who have transferred in.

Booking visits for Health Visitors and School Nurses as required, e.g. new birth visit and development checks.

Supporting meetings by providing data, preparation and minute taking.

Monitoring and ordering of stock and other items as required.

Coordinating the calibrations of scales.

Booking interpreters as requested by clinicians and following up bookings as required
