We are looking to appoint a highly motivated Office Administrator / Bookkeeper to join our team at our Troon office.

**Responsibilities Include**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Xero accounting software including reconciliation of all banks, sales & purchase ledgers
- Weekly BACS supplier payment runs
- Answering the telephone, take messages, and direct calls to other team members where appropriate
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Ensuring the smooth running of the office, including liaising with suppliers and order and maintain stationery and equipment
- Maintain accurate electronic filing records, archiving and document scanning. Use a variety of software packages to manage data and filing.
- Coordinating and organising travel
- Schedule appointments
- Assist Directors and other team members as and when required
- Handle inquiries from customers, suppliers and employees

**Experience**
- Experience in a similar role & proficiency in Xero software & bookkeeping processes
- Bookkeeping qualification would be advantageous
- Good attention to detail and mathematical proficiency/accuracy
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

**About you**
- Confident IT user with the ability to pick up on systems and software quickly
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent time management
- Ability to process data entry in an efficient manner
- Good communication skills
- Proactive approach and ability to use initiative and prioritising tasks
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Full driving license

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
