Position: Health & Safety Officer

Location: Heywood - OL10 2TA

**Salary**: £26,000 - £31,000

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift pattern: Monday - Friday 08:00- 17:00

We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;
- Take responsibility for the full scope of HSE activities at the site
- Control the input and retrieval of information to and from the company's H&S Safety software management system and carry out regular trend analysis.
- To create and maintain a short, medium and long-term Health & Safety improvement plan and programme manage the implementation of Health & Safety initiatives across the business (inclusive of lagging & leading indicators)
- Undertake relevant Safety, Health and Environment audits and create action plans in line with Safety Arrangement 053 and Divisional audit schedule.

- Previous experience in a H&S role is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of H&S regulations
- Able to work on their own initiative
- PC literate
