Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Support Operative to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business with sites in Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester.
Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Logistics Support Operative to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the site's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.
**You will be responsible for**:
- Support Key Account Single Source Customer onsite as local SAGE Ambassador.
- Ensure all requests for quotations and orders are actioned according to standard procedures
- and compliant with expected service level agreement.
- Follow up on all open orders and report to the customer timely.
- Organize and coordinate reporting and flow of priorities with Supply Chain and Purchasing on Backlog.
- Ability to work 360 and interact with SAGE other departments (Sourcing, Purchasing,
- Pricing, Operations and Sales) as well as autonomously.
- Be able to work shifts and provide additional relief coverage as required.
- Reliable and maintains excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Strong skills in Microsoft office package including strong excel ability.
- Mechanical and Technical aptitude and/or experience in those industries.
- Knowledge or experience in global automotive parts industry distribution and marketplace.
- Direct experience with ground support equipment would also be considered an advantage.

- Fully mobile, willing to work onsite and traveling away from home with rotations between three or more locations to back up colleagues while they are on leave or when facing activity increase.
- Advanced use of ERP systems in a distribution environment.
- 100% fluent in English (verbal and written), French would be a plus.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years experience.
