**Job Summary**
Reporting to the Medical Secretariat Supervisors to support the provision of an efficient and effective secretarial service for the Consultants and their teams, ensuring clinical correspondence is produced and turned around in accordance with Trust target timescales. This is a busy area with high throughput of work and staff are required to work efficiently as part of a team whilst maintaining courtesy, tact and diplomacy at all times

***Responsibilities**
- Medical Audio Typist to support the Specialist Surgery Division
- Typing clinic letters in a timely manner based at either Queens or King George hospital
- Filing, photocopying and other administrative tasks as necessary.
- Deal with routine internal telephone queries
- Good understanding of System One and Excel
**Requirements**:
- Audio Typing (Essential)
- Medical terminology (Desirable)
- Accurate 50 WPM typing speed
- Good telephone manner
- Team player
- Flexible and pro-active approach to work
- Professional manner and organized approach
- Positive, optimistic attitude
