An exciting opportunity has arisen within the STH Connect Programme for a Project Support Officer to work within the PMO function. The role will initially support the Data Management workstream of the EPR part of the Programme but may be required to move to other areas of the Programme if later required.

The role will support the workstreams to deliver a defined set of deliverables to agreed timescales, e.g. updating risks & issues, all aspects of meeting/workshop management (creating agendas, taking minutes, logging actions), assisting in producing key workstream documentation and all workstream activities. Other duties will include engagement with stakeholders from within the Programme, the wider Trust and 3rdparty external colleagues, so excellent communication skills are a must.

This is a highly complex programme and you must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, where attention to detail is the number one priority.
- Provide project support to the delivery of key milestones relating to workstreams
- Ensure that the Data Management workstreams follow the agreed processes in respect of Risk Assumptions Issues Dependencies (RAID) management
- Support workstreams in working with staff groups and services, ensuring the delivery of key milestones remains in line with the project plan and assist workstreams to develop detailed project plans.
- Work with the PMO Manager to understand tasks that are required to be completed on an ad-hoc basis
- Organise and plan meetings (virtual and face to face) as required, taking formal minutes/notes and ensure the smooth running of the meeting / event.

This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term/Secondment contract basis for a period of 19 months until 9 February 2025 due to the post being recruited as part of a limited term project within the Trust. The fixed term/Secondment contract status of the post holder will be reviewed in accordance with the Trust's legal obligations regarding fixed term contracts taking into consideration the requirement for the post to be maintained as a part of the project’s implementation and the timescales associated with this.
