Payroll Manager

My client is a Retailer based in Lancashire who are looking for a Payroll Manager. In this role you would be managing a small payroll team where you would give training and development, work hands on - on the payroll and be involved in continuous improvement.Our client is looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
Reporting directly to the HR/Benefits Manager you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of monthly payroll.
**Responsibilities**:
- Guiding and developing a team
- Full end to end monthly payroll
- Manual Calculations
- Setting up new starters and processing leavers
- Handling all pay queries
- Inputting working hours and deductions to system
- P45's,P60's, P11d's
- HMRC & RTI submissions
- Continuous improvement
- Audits and reviews
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a team manager role
- Need to be up to date on payroll legislation
- No nonsense attitude to work
- Good knowledge of payroll legislation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good systems skills including MS Excel
