The Financial Controller will be responsible for all aspects of finance within the business, managing one finance assistant you will be viewed as the go to person for all day to day accounting matters, taking ownership of issues and working on company wideprojects. The main responsibilities for this role will be:

- Producing the monthly management accounts
- Preparation of journals, accruals & prepayments, depreciation etc.
- Produce the trial balance for input to the Management accounts
- Provide various statistical information for the reporting pack
- Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and corrections of any mis-postings.
- Preparation of year-end files and analysis for audit /tax requirements
- Liaising with customers and suppliers to resolve queries
- Responsible for payroll, timesheets and liaising with external bureau
- PAYE, pensions and VAT returns
- Management of credit cards, expenses and petty cash
- Assisting with credit control and reporting on sales
- Support business planning and budget preparation
- Reporting KPI’s to improve efficiency and reduce costs
