We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our team as a permanent Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner within the Walsall Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service.
**Main duties of the job**
We are an energetic, enthusiastic and hard working team working with children and young people from 0—18. Walsall CAMHS operates from Canalside. We are a fully integrated multi-disciplinary team comprising Clinical Psychologists, Psychotherapists, Family Therapists, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Work and Psychiatry.

**Person specificationCriteriaEssential criteria**
- Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychotherapy or equivalent
- Professional Registration
- Knowledge of mental health in children and adolescents
- Application of mental health assessments and interventions
**Desirable criteria**
- Post graduate training/course relevant to CAMHS
- Supervision of junior staff

**Salary**: £35,392.00-£42,618.00 per year

- mental health assessments: 1 year (preferred)
