About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a permanent Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner within the Walsall Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service.

Main Responsibilities
  • As a member of our energetic and enthusiastic team, you will work with children and young people from 0-18 years old, providing mental health assessments and interventions.
  • You will be part of a fully integrated multi-disciplinary team comprising Clinical Psychologists, Psychotherapists, Family Therapists, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Work, and Psychiatry.
Requirements
  • Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychotherapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Professional Registration.
  • Knowledge of mental health in children and adolescents.
  • Application of mental health assessments and interventions.
  • Postgraduate training relevant to CAMHS.
  • Supervision of junior staff.
