Stores Administrator

Number1Recruit are currently seeking an experienced Stores Administrator with Warehouse expertise to join a dynamic client in Huncoat.
**The Role**:
- Create and issue store picks to VNA truck drivers and floor pickers across all shifts, ensuring timely delivery of stock according to schedule and ordering/delivery deadline guidelines.
- Communicate and manage customer expectations for delivery shortages.
- Support the stores function with monitoring and reporting duties, including data entry and KPI collation.
- Investigate picking errors/miss picks, providing details for root cause analysis to the Stock Controller.
- Control manual ordering from stores and report deviations from the agreed ordering process by customers.
- Act as the first point of contact for internal customers, addressing queries and issues related to order schedules.
- Demonstrate excellent telephone etiquette and prioritize urgent requirements with a customer-first attitude.
- Assist the team in aspects of training, emphasizing the importance of stock accuracy, movement processes, and individual roles within the department.
- Support continuous improvement efforts in all areas within the department to stay ahead of the competition.
- Champion and become the go-to person for all processes and procedures within the stores office.
**The Person**:
- Proficient in computer usage.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent telephone manner with good organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and confidence in communicating with other departmental management.
- Self-motivated, able to prioritize and manage own workload, and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in an admin role, preferably within a Production/Manufacturing environment (Desirable).
- Previous experience of running an office environment (Desirable).
**Working Hours**:
Mon to Thurs 7am-4pm, Fri 7am-12.45pm
