**Job Title: Apprentice Sales Administrator**

**Reports To: Sales Office Manager**

**Hours: 08:30 - 17:00, Monday to Friday inclusive**

**Main Purpose of Role: To assist in the smooth operation of the sales office. To ensure all sales orders are processed onto the system promptly and accurately (by working closely with the customers and reps), customer service and to build and grow telesales accounts.**

**Main List of Activities**
- Processing sales orders accurately onto Sage.
- Assist with moving and exporting goods.
- Use various software programs to input orders onto Sage (e.g. EDI, SEI - IPADS and website).
- Management and development of house accounts including courtesy calling and following up.
- Dealing with customer enquiries/orders by telephone.
- Dealing with customers face to face in the showroom and customer visits when required.
- Attending exhibitions when required.
- Use the Document Management System to store copy orders.
- Type and process various documents and electronic information.
- File data and perform other routine clerical tasks as assigned.
- Operate a variety of standard office machinery, including a personal computer, computer software, phone, fax, calculator, shredding machine, and photocopier.
- Communicate and liaise verbally and in writing, interpret and respond clearly and effectively to spoken requests over the phone or in person and to verbal and written instructions.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers and customers.
- Perform duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance and adherence to relevant Health & Safety procedures.
- All legitimate requests made by management.

**Skills Required**:
Experience in a busy sales office environment

SAGE 200 experience

Willingness to work flexibly

General administration experience

Good IT skills

Ability to prioritise workload

Telesales Experience

Well organised

Attention to detail

Approachable manner and good communication skills

GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent) Grade 4 or above

Stay calm under pressure

Excellent Customer Liaison

Enthusiastic & confident

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: £6.40-£7.49 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
