We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Administrator to join our team at McCarthy Recruitment. About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for acting as a main contact between the company and its customer and supplier network, providing high levels of customer service. You will develop customer and supplier leads, tracking locations and availability of products, negotiate supply rates, and gather market and customer information. Additionally, you will arrange deliveries between customers, suppliers, and manufacturers, manage key account holders' diaries, and coordinate events with the whole team. You will also create reports and monitor service delivery, manage the phone system and computer systems, and negotiate confidently to chase up and record all possible sales opportunities. Furthermore, you will prepare and finalize quotations/proposals and close out sales enquiries.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will require experience of a similar Sales Administrator or admin role in a busy office environment, along with customer-facing experience either in customer service or sales. You will have a larger-than-life personality, able to be a brand ambassador from the first point of contact, with a confident and professional telephone manner. A flexible and adaptable attitude, ability to work under pressure, high standard of written English, fast and accurate keyboard skills, excellent cost control, and focus are essential. You should also have knowledge of database systems, be highly organized and structured in your approach to task management, and have a track record in achieving targets and driving profitability.
