**Junior Office Administrator**

Plater Group has been established since 1996 and incorporates a number of successful businesses within the chemical sector distributing, blending and manufacturing chemical products for multi-national corporations to SMEs across Europe.

The role of office administrator is essential to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the accounts department for this progressive and successful business. Responsible for providing support to the department by handling the administrative tasks and assisting with the bookkeeping functions.

Opportunities exist for professional development from this junior role if an individual wishes to pursue a career in Accounts. Plater Group will sponsor AAT qualifications. This position is located in Glossop, Derbyshire.

**Main duties**:

- Matching, checking and processing supplier invoices
- Setting up of new supplier/customer accounts and maintaining existing account details
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Data entry
- Purchase order processing
- Scanning, filing and creation of digital records
- Maintaining office supplies for the site and placing orders when necessary
- Various other tasks as required

The position is full time, permanent, 9am - 5pm Monday-Friday, with 1 hour for lunch. Competitive salary

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of Zoho Books an advantage (full training provided)
- Knowledge of Google Drive an advantage (full training provided)
- Proficient on spreadsheets
- Excellent communication skills
- Solid team working skills
- Self-disciplined and efficient, with a flexible and proactive nature
- Ability to work accurately and to deadlines
