**Purpose and Function of the Post**:
To maintain the Sage accounts system for the Chamber of Commerce and to be proactive in ensuring that all monies owed to Chamber are received within the designated timeframes.

**Principal Duties**:
To maintain the SAGE accounts system for the Chamber of Commerce, including:

- Processing purchase and creating and processing sales invoices
- Statement Preparation
- Entering bank payments and receipts
- Extracting Quarterly VAT reports
- Liaising with payroll bureau on monthly basis
- Credit Control
- Assist in producing monthly fully reconciled bank and VAT reports
- Assist in producing Management Accounts from the Sage system at least quarterly
- Ecommerce bookings and payments
- Proactively pursue the collection of money from Aged Debtors
- Assist CEO to financially manage projects operating through The Chamber

To keep records for Annual Leave and Attendance

To keep stationery/office stock updated

To answer telephone and face to face queries and deal with or redirect as appropriate.

To process queries and keep necessary membership records.

To assist in the maintenance of a database of all relevant Chamber stakeholders.

To assist in the planning, organisation and delivery of Chamber events.

Any other reasonable duties which will contribute to the achievement of the purpose and function of this post

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Derry, BT48 6PW: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)

**Experience**:

- accounts administration: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)
