Messina Clinic is a Medical Clinic that services the Brazilian and Latin American communities. We have been established for 14 years in London and we are currently looking for a Medical Receptionist with an immediate start
As a **Patient Support team member, **you will need the ability to provide general assistance to the clinical team and deliver a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors via the telephone and messaging systems. You will be responsible for fulfilling administrative duties in the office, including billing support, scheduling, patient communication, and filing. This role will require a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with people.
**Working Hours**:Monday - Friday09:00 - 18:00 with 30 minute lunch break.
**Responsibilities**:
- Answer patients’ queries and ensure quality customer service.
- Schedule appointments and confirm appointments prior to appointment.
- Take payments and deposits for appointments.
- Assist patients with rescheduling appointments and other scheduling issues.
- Answer multi-line phone system and take appointments or direct calls to the appropriate department.
- Organizing and supporting daily operations and doing extra tasks as needed.
- Ensure that all new patients are registered onto the system promptly and accurately.
- Deal with all general inquiries, explain procedures, and make new and follow-up appointments.
- Undertake any other additional duties appropriate to the post as requested by the Practice Manager.
- Analyze customer inquiries and provide appropriate solutions or escalate to the appropriate department.
- Maintain a high level of phone etiquette and professionalism at all times.
**Experience**:
- _**Fluent in Portugues, Good English and Spanish is a plus.**_
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle difficult or irate customers with patience and professionalism
- Proficient in data entry and computer skills

**Training and development**
