**GENERAL SUMMARY**

The Import / Export Coordinator will provide support to various shipping activities to deliver products on time and in full to meet with external and internal supplier, customer, and legislative requirements. Working with the Shipping Coordinators and Original Equipment (OE) and Aftermarket (AM) Project teams to continually improve cross departmental communication and effectiveness.

As an Import Export Coordinator, you will be responsible for the preparation of import and export documentation for the shipping of goods internationally.

**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)**
- Responsible for he accurate and timely execution of the supplier invoice coding and approval process
- Shipment planning and execution for all worldwide Courier Express shipments via specific integrated supplier software
- Support/link between OE/AM Project teams and Shipping regarding the provision of accurate and timely export and customer specific shipping invoices and bespoke documentation
- Communicate with Export Freight agents to track the provision of all export documentation such as Air Waybills and Export Declarations
- Responsible for the physical filing and scanning of all associated shipping paperwork into the correct document archive location
- Work alongside Shipping Coordinators in effectively managing the existing Replacements/Warranty process with a view to taking eventual ownership of the process
- Letters of credit, receiving training on the process and requirements
- Export Compliance knowledge as per business needs and requirements desirable
- Handling starts to finish shipments for all modes of transport
- Arranging import and export operations
- Maintaining communication clients through all phases of shipment journey
- Liaise regularly with overseas office partners, agency, and clients
- Prepare and provide documents to customers in accordance with the terms of shipment standard operating procedures
- Claim and record shipment revenue, invoicing international clients

**EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience of managing key administration tasks and delivering to these accurately and on time
- Experience of working within cross departmental teams and functions
- Problem solver
- Experience of using ERP systems
