**Job summary**:
We have **two** interesting and varied Project Coordinator roles based in the Campus and Curriculum Team within the Government Skills and Curriculum Unit (GSCU).

The Campus and Curriculum team is at the heart of the GSCU, owning and developing the Curriculum for Government, designing and implementing a range of interventions focused on developing the core and specialist skills of all civil servants, and developing transformative commercial and digital solutions to enable this critical work.

GSCU is responsible for creating a Campus for learning. This includes:

- The core skills any civil servant will need to do their job well;
- The knowledge unique to the civil service context;
- Consistent line management training for managers at every level and support for leaders of large teams and delivery programmes;
- Deep professional expertise with greater emphasis on the demonstration of capability; and
- Understanding of the context in which we work.

One of the Project Coordinator roles will be based in the Campus team supporting the Learning Frameworks 2.0 project (LF2.0) The current Learning Frameworks contracts are in place until October 2025 and the project to identify their replacement is known as Learning Frameworks 2.0.

The other Project Coordinator role will be based in the Curriculum team supporting projects across the Curriculum, such as Civil Service induction. For more information on induction see the link below:
Both Project Coordinator roles provide the opportunity to shape the central learning provision for all Civil servants.

**Job description**:
**Campus team**

Learning Frameworks 2.0 (LF2.0) Project Coordinator:
A central part of the offer that GSCU provides across government is the Learning Frameworks (contracts with KPMG and EY) that provide much of the formal training across the Civil Service. The Learning Frameworks contracts are in place until October 2025 and the project to identify their replacement is known as Learning Frameworks 2.0.

The Learning Frameworks 2.0 contract value is estimated at around £900 million over the course of its 8-year lifetime. Learning Frameworks 2.0 will provide L&D/training to the majority of civil servants, covering a majority of the departments, functions, professions and their associated Arms length bodies (ALBs). It will support the capability development of the wider public sector.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small project team managing a high-profile Government People Group project.The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Project Manager, Project Director and work stream leads to ensure the project is on track, risks are identified and mitigated against, assurance reporting is coordinated and to provide secretarial support.

The Project Coordinator will work closely with other Campus and Curriculum Team colleagues, to ensure that dependencies are being managed effectively and provide cross-project support where necessary.

**Curriculum team***

Project Coordinator:
In this role, you will support projects across the Curriculum Framework, such as Civil Service Induction and learning programmes around working in government.

You will work with individuals and networks across government to understand demand, capture examples of good practice and help develop ambitious and innovative L&D programmes, including Induction to the Civil Service. Building awareness and understanding of our programme of work with colleagues across the Civil Service through communication and engagement activities is an important part of this role.

The role requires the ability to work confidently with colleagues at all levels on capability issues, developing genuine partnerships. This is a great opportunity to develop your L&D expertise and build your own networks across the Civil Service.

You will also be analysing the volume data from the induction courses and putting forward recommendations for continuous improvement.

General responsibilities across projects will include project planning, support on stakeholder engagement and learning design, user research, implementation of evaluation strategies and internal and external communications.
