PETA Ltd are proud to be working alongside MIPA Paints Ltd to recruit and train a successful Business Administration Apprentice. The role is accountable for supporting the management, sales and technical department by the way of providing office and administration support in a timely and accurate manner. You may also be responsible for supporting the customer sales and service group when necessary, with sales order processing and customer service in an effective, efficient and professional manner.
**Training to be provided**:
Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard. You will complete a 15-month apprenticeship which includes 12 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham. You will be supported every 6 weeks with visits from your PETA Learning & Development Coach.
**About the role**:
As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will provide office and administration assistance for all functions within Mipa Paints and to support the CEO with ad hoc duties, including ensuring projects are executed in an efficient and timely manner. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Liaising and assisting customers to ensure outstanding experience is delivered including preparing meeting rooms, greeting, making refreshments, and serving of luncheon
- General administration support
- Ad-hoc duties to support the CEO
- Project management to ensure project deadlines are achieved for CEO
- General electronic filing
- Making staff and customer travel arrangements including booking of hotels
- Manage meeting room bookings to avoid double booking
- Training course bookings, including accommodation booking where necessary
- Booking of buffets where required for visitors
- Preparations of Microsoft Word and Excel documents
- Microsoft SharePoint document maintenance
- Overseeing, arranging and booking routine maintenance
- Monitoring of office supplies, including tea & coffee
- Arranging IT equipment installation
- Monitoring of offices, meeting rooms and kitchen to ensure these areas always remain clutter free
- Supporting the customer sales and service group when necessary, with sales order processing and customer service in an effective, efficient and professional
