Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join their growing Finance team based near Didcot.

**Client Details**

Our client is a hugely successful national organisation which is based in South Oxfordshire near to the Didcot area. They have experience significant investment and growth in recent years and their future growth plan is exciting With newly refurbished officesand a close knit team, this is a great opportunity for someone to step in a team leader/manager position.

**Description**

The Accounts Payable Manager's main duties of the role will include:

- Manage and mentor the Accounts Payable & Cashiering Team.
- Processing of all client invoices onto the accounting system and assist in preparation of any tenant invoices/client funding requirements as necessary.Processing Dream corrections.
- Ensure Purchase Order processes are followed by the wider site management teams.
- Reconciliation of supplier statements, dealing with supplier queries, and preparation of supplier payment runs.
- Bank reconciliations, to import the statements from the bank to accounting system daily and investigate any discrepancies.
- Processing of tenancy and other updates in a timely fashion, including raising/recording rental demands on accounting system.
- Processing refunds and transacting invoice payments.
- Assist with 3rd Party audit queries as required.
- Liaise with suppliers and tenants when required to settle outstanding queries.
- To attend nominated sites during move in weekends (annual).
- Assisting with the protecting of tenant deposits and the processing their return within prescribed timescales.
- To review the tenant aged debtors report and assist with any arrears collection where necessary.
- Filing and other ad-hoc duties required.

**Profile**

The Accounts Payable Manager must have:

- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable and/or Cashiering leadership role.
- Methodical, pro-active approach, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritise a variety of conflicting deadlines and work requests.
- Ability to produce high quality and accurate work within demanding timeframes.
- Use of Microsoft Office, previous experience of accounting package(s).
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good organisational skill and ability to work to, and sometime implement own processes.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Confident, personable and approachable personality.
- Capable of working with minimum supervision.
- Working as a team player and the ability to help other staff members

**Job Offer**

The salary on offer is between £30,000 and £35,000 depending upon experience.
