**About the Role**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Purchasing Coordinator to join the Purchasing department and participate in high value purchasing activities in line with company policy including:

- Expediting outstanding purchase orders to ensure delivery requirements are met.
- Ensuring an accurate delivery status for Purchase orders is maintained within our ERP system.
- Monitoring and developing suppliers’ performance.
- Developing positive stakeholder relationships across the business.
- Proactively liaising between suppliers and stakeholders to resolve purchasing supply issues, ensuring an accurate and timely provision of information and supply.
- Assisting in resolving Accounts Payable invoice discrepancies and variances.
- Accurately maintaining the purchasing databases to a high standard.
- Performing other related duties such as special assignments and annual major objectives as required.
- Liaising with respective operational departments to expedite and progress parts through that require secondary operations.
- Coordinating free issue material, tooling, and parts to suppliers.
- Managing the daily consignment shipments domestic and international via nominated freight forwarders.
- Actively participating in process improvement activities through our internal and external logistics channels.

**To be successful you will have**:

- Previous purchasing experience with good stakeholder management experience and capability.
- Experience within a logistics area of an organisation would be advantageous.
- Previous knowledge of utilising SAP would be an advantage.
- Commitment, motivation and self discipline in your work, with a can-do attitude.
- A desire to work in a fast paced procurement function where no two days are the same.
- A desire to develop knowledge, skills and understanding whilst contributing to the Team’s Procurement goals.
- A Team player mentality - stepping in wherever required to help your team mates achieve our company goals.
