Purchasing and Production Planner

Our client is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Purchasing and Production Planner to join their team.

**What you will do**:
**This** role is crucial for ensuring efficient planning and execution of our production schedules, as well as managing the purchasing of raw materials and components, all while adhering to ISO quality processes and standards**

**Purchasing**:

- Identify, negotiate, and secure contracts with suppliers for raw materials and components.
- Monitor inventory levels to determine the timing and quantity of orders.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and reliability, with a focus on compliance with ISO standards.
- Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure all materials meet ISO specifications and other necessary standards.

**Production Planning**:

- Develop and maintain a production schedule, coordinating closely with production and warehouse teams.
- Assess resource availability, including manpower and materials, to ensure timely delivery to customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production plans with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with industry and ISO regulations, particularly those relevant to medical devices and FDA OTCs

**Reporting and Analysis**:

- Prepare and present reports detailing purchasing and production metrics.
- Conduct cost analysis, to identify areas for improvement or cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor production outcomes against ISO-compliant planned objectives and timelines, implementing corrective actions as needed.

**What you will need**:

- Bachelor’s degree.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, production planning, or a similar role, preferably in the medical device or wet wipe manufacturing sector.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proficient understanding of ISO quality processes and standards.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
