**About the role and our team**

Join our team as a Customer Service Triage Officer for the Social Security Division within Treasury

This is a customer focused role where you will be the first point of contact for people who call in to Markwell House for assistance. You will act as a triage service to understand customer enquiries and signpost customers to ensure that they receive a prompt and efficient service.

Customer Services is the face of the Social Security Division and you will be the first port of call for a broad range of enquiries. You will need excellent communication skills, be able to deal with a diverse range of customers and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

The skills we’re looking for in this role include:

- Care about delivering an excellent service to every customer
- Excellent communication skills, confident in a face to face environment
- Ability to support a diverse range of customers
- Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to respond to change positively
- Flexible approach with good IT skills
- Able to develop an understanding of the benefits system
